Hello! I’m Mattie - It means the world to me that you are here. I am so glad you came to stop by. I am a traveling wedding and elopement photographer living in Northern California. The Bay Area is where we call home.
This journey has been far from boring. It has been more than I ever could have imagined. I believe the human spirit was made to be free. I believe the human spirit was made for one another. In coming to the west coast, photography has become one of the greatest joys in my life. It has given me grit, gumption, and opportunities to connect with people while documenting their human spirit as they relate to one another - not something I take lightly.
The philosophy behind my business comes from a pure approach to make honest imagery for the people. Your love is unique, wild, glorious, and deserving of celebration. Life is too short not to climb a mountain, dance in the desert, or look at your best friend in their familiar eyes. You have decided that forever with them is far better than a single day apart. It is sacred and lovely in every way.
The honest images that I desire to take are to be given back to you with loving hands so that you may treasure them forever. They are your story unfolding, not mine to keep or reproduce, but wholly yours to cherish and share. I become invested in my couples. Many of them become forever friends that leave their mark of kindness on my life. It always has been and always will be about relationships, transparency, trust and art. This is the reason why I love what I do.
